Pirate: a bomb wild on reel 3 and a Pirate Battle bonus

A bearded pirate with an orange beard hugs a black cannonball bomb to his chest on reels 4 and 5, and he's the clue to this game's main trick. Pirate on Play8oy has a Bomb Wild that blows nearby symbols into wilds, on top of a normal wild coin.

The crew is cartoonish and a bit rowdy. A hook-handed captain, an officer in a blue coat peering through a spyglass, a sailor with a big mug of beer, the bomb man and a pirate woman in a feathered hat. The lower symbols are a blue-and-yellow parrot, a galleon, a Jolly Roger, a flintlock and crossed cutlasses. The reels stand on a ship's deck with rope ladders and open sea on either side.

The bet is LINES 20 at PLAY 5, so 100 a spin, and GRAND, MAJOR, MINOR and MINI run across the top.

Two wilds, one bonus

The paytable fits on one page. The captain tops it at 1,000 for five, 300 for four, 75 for three and 4 for two. The spyglass officer pays 800, the pirate woman 600, the beer-mug sailor 500 and the bomb man 400 for five. The parrot and ship pay 300 and 250, the flag 200, the pistol 150 and the cutlasses 100.

Then the three specials:

• BONUS, a rolled treasure map. Three or more anywhere on an active payline trigger the Pirate Battle bonus game. I don't have a capture of the battle.
• WILD, a gold coin. It appears only on reels 2, 3 and 4 and substitutes for anything except Bonus.
• BOMB WILD, a round bomb with a lit fuse. It appears on reel 3 and randomly changes nearby symbols into wilds, and it also substitutes for anything except Bonus.

A JACKPOT BET table sits beside them: a minimum bet of 50 qualifies for 50% of the jackpot, and 100 or more for 100%. The captures were taken at exactly 100.

In the capture I left out, two pirate women on reels 1 and 2 pay 30, lighting up several lines at once. Her pay for two is 2, so at PLAY 5 that works out as the same pair counted on three lines, which happens a lot with 20 lines crossing the same corner.
