Slots, fishing games and table games are built so that over time the house keeps part of every ringgit played. Short winning runs happen; a long-run profit doesn't. Play only if you are 18 or older, and only with money you've already set aside for fun. Limits that actually work

• Decide the top-up before you open the app. Write the number down. When that credit is gone, the session is over.
• Set a time limit. An hour is plenty. A phone alarm is more honest than "one more spin".
• Cash out part of a win. Ask for the withdrawal while you are ahead instead of playing the balance back down.
• Never borrow to play, and never top up from money meant for rent, bills, family or debts.
• Don't play to fix a mood. Tired, drunk, angry or chasing a loss are the worst times to top up.

Warning signs

Chasing losses with bigger top-ups, hiding how much you play, borrowing or selling things to buy credit, feeling restless when you can't play, or arguing with family about money. If two or more sound familiar, take a break and talk to someone.

Blocking yourself

Ask your provider to close your game ID, delete the apps, and remove any saved bank payees you use for top-ups. Most banking apps let you set a lower daily transfer limit, so use it.
