African Wildlife: a grinning lion, a 50-line grid and a safari bonus

The lion on African Wildlife isn't roaring so much as waving at you, paw up, mouth wide open. That sets the tone: this is a cartoon safari, all rounded edges and bright colours, with a scowling vulture, a zebra, a rhino and an elephant in round portrait frames, and the explorer's kit (binoculars, a pink water canteen, a compass on a map, a backpack and a pith helmet) filling the gaps.
The grid is 5 by 3 inside a wooden frame with a little "50 LINES" sign hanging on each side. In every capture the bet is LINES 50 and PLAY 2, which makes TOTAL PLAY 100. Your balance shows top left as SCORE, in points rather than ringgit, and the four jackpot boxes (GRAND, MAJOR, MINOR, MINI) sit next to it, ticking up between screenshots.
In the shot above three backpacks join up on a line that zigzags down from the top-left corner, and the WIN box reads 80.
What the paytable says
This is one of the more useful paytables I've seen on Play8oy, because it fits on a single screen.
The lion pays 2,000 for five, 500 for four, 100 for three and 5 for two. The elephant follows at 1,500, then the rhino at 800, zebra at 500 and vulture at 400; all of them pay something for two in a row. The kit pays less, from 300 for five backpacks down to 75 for five helmets, and needs at least three.
Two special symbols. The Wild substitutes for anything except Bonus. The Bonus symbol, a girl in a safari hat with a camera, starts the African Wildlife bonus game when three or more land anywhere. I don't have a screenshot of that game, so the old page's story about free games with a sticky lion wild stays unconfirmed.
The JACKPOT table is the part worth reading before you pick a bet. A minimum bet of 50 gets you 50% of the jackpot and 100 or more gets 100%. The same kind of table shows up on Pirate, and if animals are the draw, Amazon Jungle goes a completely different way with its round jungle tiles.
