Fire Spin: sevens, cherries and a DOUBLE button on a 3x3 grid
An old-school 3x3 fruit machine with lines that run down the columns too, an any-position pay table and a DOUBLE button where you'd expect LINES.
Where every other Play8oy slot has a LINES box, Fire Spin has a big grey DOUBLE button. That's the first clue that this one is different, and the grid confirms it: three reels of three, black tiles, and symbols straight off a pub fruit machine. Blue sevens, red sevens, a BAR, a diamond, a brass bell, a watermelon, a plum, an orange and cherries.
To the right, a large wheel with "Fire Spin" in silver script takes up a third of the screen. It never moves in any of these captures, and I couldn't find out what sets it off.
On the left is a running pay list. In the first capture it's scaled to the bet, so three blue sevens show 10,000 and a lone cherry 10.
How it pays
PLAY 10 gives TOTAL PLAY 80, so there are eight lines. Little arrows on the top and left edges mark where they start, and they don't just run across.
Here a pink line runs straight down the right-hand column, and the side panel lists two wins: a single cherry for 10 and "cherry x 4" for 40, so 50 in total. The DOUBLE button has turned pink, which I take to mean it's live after a win. I didn't see what happens when you press it, but a double button on a fruit machine is normally a gamble on your last win.
The odds table has two halves. The top is the line pays: 1,000 for three blue sevens, 200 for three red, 100 for any mix of sevens, then BAR 80, diamonds 50, bells 30, watermelons 20, plums 16, oranges 12, cherries 8 and 1 for a single cherry. There's also 80 for one of everything, going by the picture of mixed symbols.
The bottom half is ANYPAY: how many of one symbol sit anywhere on the grid. It starts at four. Four cherries pay 4 and a FULL grid of cherries 400; sevens run from 80 for four to 4,000 for a full grid.
