Fruit Mania: five lines, cartoon fruit and a scrolling jackpot
One screenshot, five paylines and a lot of bright fruit. What the NTC33 capture of Fruit Mania shows, and which old claims I couldn't check.
A lemon-headed cartoon man is drinking juice through a straw in the top-left corner, and a sun with a sly grin peeks in from the bottom. Fruit Mania is an old-school, loud-coloured fruit machine, and there's only one screenshot of it here, so this page is short.
The reels show strawberries, lemons, green apples, a bunch of purple grapes, a dark blue plum, a glass of red fruit drink with a lemon slice and straw, and the same grinning sun as a symbol. Each fruit sits on a small coloured square tilted behind it, which gives the reels a patchy, fruit-stall look.
Lines and bet buttons
Five numbered markers sit on each side of the reels, in the order 4, 2, 1, 3, 5, so this is a 5-line game. That's rare in the NTC33 lobby, where most slots run 15 to 50 lines.
The controls are older than on most of the other games here. There's a BET box, a LINE BET box and a WIN box, then a row of grey buttons: a stake button showing RM1.25, Pay-table, Bet One, Bet Max and Spin. In the capture LINE BET reads RM1.25 and BET reads RM0, so the round hadn't started. I'd confirm what RM1.25 covers before spinning, because at five lines it could mean anything up to RM6.25 a spin.
The jackpot and the missing features
Above the reels, a red ticker scrolls a number ending in ",036.48" next to the words "Progressive J...". It's a progressive jackpot, but the capture cuts off both the full amount and how you win it.
The old page listed a lot: free spins x3 and x5, a Double Wins round, a Wild Cherry round, a Fruit Mania round, a bonus pick and a jackpot for five BARs. I can't see any BAR symbol in this screenshot, and none of those rounds is shown, so treat all of it as unconfirmed until you've opened Pay-table.
