The sun in Fruit Mania has a face, and it isn't a friendly one. Narrowed eyes, a sly grin, orange rays. It turns up on the reels between cherries and lemons and again, much bigger, in the background on the left, peering over the edge of the screen.
What's on the reels
Five reels, three rows, on cream tiles with a colour block behind each fruit. The line-up: cherries, purple grapes, a shiny blue plum, a green apple, a lemon, an orange, a strawberry, a cocktail glass with a slice of lemon, and the sun. Everything is drawn thick-lined and cartoonish.
Above the reels, under the Fruit Mania logo, is a red Progressive Jackpot counter. It read RM124,040.57 in the first shot and RM124,042.14 twenty seconds later.
The sun and the bonus
The old page said you need a sun on reel 1 and another on reel 5 to start a bonus where you pick fruit from three rows and the prize is added to your balance. I couldn't confirm that. In the hero shot the sun lands on reels 1 and 4; in the capture above there are three suns, on reels 2, 3 and 5. Neither starts anything, which at least fits the idea that reels 1 and 5 both matter.
The bet
This is where Fruit Mania stands apart from the other LPE88 captures. The strip reads Lines 1, Line Bet RM1.25 and Total Bet RM1.25.
