Heart of the Frontier: a sheriff, a bandit and a duel at noon
A Wild West slot with 20 lines and two expanding wilds that the intro screen says lock in place and duel in the Showdown Free Games.
The old page called this game Heat of the Frontier, but the small print over the logo says Heart of the Frontier. It's a Wild West slot, and its intro screen gives away the two symbols that matter: a red-haired sheriff with a rifle on the left and a dark-haired bandit with a revolver on the right.
What the intro screen says
Two lines of rules, word for word from the screen. The Bandit and Sheriff wild symbols "expand to fill the entire reel, then lock to the reels and move on every spin". And: "lock Sheriff and Bandit wild symbols in place and duel at high noon in Showdown Free Games". That's all the detail these captures give. The old page added that after the free games the two shoot it out and the winner stays on the reels for the base game. It sounds plausible for a game built around a duel, but I didn't see it happen.
On the reels
Five reels of three rows, set in a wooden frame with a dusty street and saloon buildings behind. The characters are tall portraits that often fill a whole reel: a blonde cowgirl in a brown jacket and long green skirt, and a Native American woman with a blue shawl and a feather fan. There's also a silver sheriff's star and a horseshoe. The low symbols are worn playing cards, 9 to A, some with a poker chip resting on them.
The biggest result in these screenshots is that one: five 10s of spades across the bottom row, with more 10s scattered above them. One of the lines pays RM0.10 and the total comes to RM0.52 on a RM0.20 spin. The capture just before shows a big 5 of a Kind banner.
Bet
The strip under the reels reads Lines 20, Line Bet RM0.01 and Total Bet RM0.20, with the balance around RM49 to RM50 through the session. The old page gave a range of 0.20 to 60 per spin; I only saw the bottom of it.
