Safari King: three reels, one red line and a 2500 top prize at two coins

A thin red line runs straight across the middle of three reels, and that's the only line there is. Safari King is about as simple as a slot gets: three reels, cartoon animals, and a paytable glued to the left of the screen so you never have to open a help page.

The symbols are a smiling lion, a zebra, a giraffe, a gold bell, a green mud hut, a pair of crossed flaming torches and a stone hammer. The backdrop is an orange savannah sunset with acacia trees, and the title sits under a lion, a giraffe and a zebra peering over the top.

The pay table

Two columns of prizes, one for each coin. With one coin in, three lions pay 1200, three zebras 500, three giraffes 200, three bells 100, three huts 75, three torches 50 and three hammers 25. Two bells pay 5 and one bell pays 2. Put in a second coin and the right-hand column applies: 2500, 1000, 400, 200, 150, 100, 50, 10 and 4. The lion row is the only one where two coins pay more than double (2500 instead of 2400), which is the usual reason these old-style machines want the max coin.

Here two bells landed on the line with a hut above and lions below. At one coin of 0.01 that paid MPV 0.05, which matches the 5 in the paytable.

Betting

BET ONE adds a coin (the 1 and 2 markers either side of the paytable show which column is live), and the box next to it sets the coin value with plus and minus. It sat at 0.01 in both captures, so a spin cost MPV 0.01. There's no line selector because there's nothing to select. Spin with the round button on the right, or hold it for autoplay.
