Sedie: four red-and-white discs and six boxes to bet on

Chinese characters and English sit side by side on this table: 双 EVEN, 单 ODD, 白 White, 红 Red. Sedie is the shaker game played with four two-sided discs, red on one side and white on the other. The dealer shakes them under a bowl, and you bet on how many land red side up.

SKY777's version is a black table split in two. The left half is blue, the right half red, and a grid across the top keeps the results history.

The six bets

Every box has its payout printed on it, in Chinese (赔率) and English:

• 4 White and 4 Red, blue boxes: 1 pays 9.5
• 3 White 1 Red and 3 Red 1 White, red boxes: 1 pays 2.5
• EVEN (双): 1 pays 0.97
• ODD (单): 1 pays 0.97

Even covers four of one colour and the two-two split, so it's the wider bet; Odd is any three-and-one. Both pay slightly less than even money, and that 0.03 is where the house makes its money on the simple bets.

Chips are on the curved rail on the left (1 in the middle, with 5 and 100 half visible), and the MIN 1 and MAX 250 box sits bottom left. In the round above a 2 went on EVEN. The EVEN box is lit, BET reads 2, and the history grid picked up its first entry. WIN still showed 0 when this was captured, so I can't tell you whether that round won. A NEW button on the right clears the table for the next one.

There isn't much else on screen: no animation of the bowl in these captures, and no side bets beyond the six boxes.
