Monkey Story Plus: the same board, a jackpot box and odds that move

The JACKPOT box is what sets the Plus version apart, and it doesn't sit still: 721500 in one capture, 477000 in the next, then 701600, 201700 and 365100. It's parked in the top-left of the board, where Monkey Story has nothing.

The backdrop has changed too. Instead of a river valley, the board floats over mountain peaks poking out of a sea of cloud.

Odds that change colour

Below the ring of portraits is the same betting grid as the original: four Journey to the West characters in red, green and yellow, with BANK, TIE and PLAYER on the right. The difference is that the multipliers get dealt out again between rounds. In the first capture the Monkey King boxes read 46, 35 and 28 from red to yellow, the girl 23, 17 and 14, the green demon 13, 10 and 8, and the ox 8, 6 and 4. In a later screenshot the red Monkey King is 28 and the green one 46.

So the colour you liked last round may not carry the same number now. Read the grid before you tap.

The bottom bar has CHIPS (100 in one shot, 50 in another), BALANCE, BET and WIN, plus START, LAST RESULT and RE-BET. The balance goes from 9281 to 9231.

Result screens

When the round runs, the grid disappears and the Monkey King rides his cloud round the ring. A medallion in the middle shows who he landed on, with the multiplier repeated round its edge (35 for the Monkey King in the shot above). One capture also has a tile reading 七十二变, the Monkey King's "72 transformations", next to the PLAYER and TIE tags.

The last screenshot swaps the cloud view for a stone courtyard where the Monkey King faces off with an armoured general, and the side tag reads TIE. I'd guess it's a special animation for a tie result, but I only have one example.
