Mayan Element of Life: fire, air and earth carved on stone tiles

The reels of Mayan Element of Life look like a wall of carved stone tiles set in a teal stone ring, and each tile carries one glyph: a blue air swirl, a purple earth sign, an orange flame and a green tree. A yellow five-pointed star turns up too. The card symbols are 10, J, Q, K and A, with small shields or gems on the letters.

The wild is a silver stone mask with WILD across its chin. The side panels read 243 instead of line numbers, so this is a ways game: matching symbols on adjacent reels from the left pay, wherever they sit on each reel.

A wild that covers the scatter

The message under the reels in the first capture says "WILD CAN SUBSTITUTE SCATTER SYMBOL TOO". Most slots keep the scatter out of the wild's reach, so it's worth knowing. I didn't see a scatter win or a free-spin round, though, and I can't tell from the art which symbol is the scatter.

The shot above shows how the ways add up. Two flames on reel 1, a wild on reel 2, two more flames on reel 3 and a wild on reel 4 give several combinations at once, and the fire win came to 240 on a bet of 100.

Bet and jackpot

All four captures are at a total bet of 100 and the room badge says MACAU. The jackpot bar shows GRAND 174,936, MAJOR 32,347, MINOR 16,353 and MINI 12,184. A smaller win of 24 in the last capture came from pink As with the help of two wilds.

The old page was mostly generic slot talk and called the 243 ways "243 paylines". There were no specific paytable claims to check.
