Sugar Land: pour enough chocolate and the sweets turn wild

The first thing that gives Sugar Land away as more than a candy reskin is a row of three meters that only shows up once the free spins start. Before that it's a plain-looking grid: jelly beans, gumdrops, pink square sweets, an orange drop and a bunch of red berries on a blue board with snow-capped icing on the frame.

The board is 5 reels by 4 rows with 50 lines, marked by the little 50 LINES tags on both sides. Below it the bar is simple: INFO, a COIN box at RM0.01, TOTAL BET at RM0.50 with minus and plus, a message window reading GOOD LUCK, AUTO, TURBO and the round orange spin button. There's no separate line selector in these shots, so RM0.50 looks like the floor.

Scatters, jugs and the 10 spins

The scatter is a chocolate bar on a green starburst, and the wild is a round chocolate truffle with Wild written across it. Three chocolate bars on reels 2, 3 and 4 brought up a box saying the player had won 10 free spins.

The white jugs are what the feature is built on. In the capture above three of them glow on the middle reels just before the spins begin. During the free spins, each jug adds to a meter over the reels.

What the meters did

The first meter needs 3 jugs, the second 4 (and adds 3 spins), the third 5 (and adds 2 spins). Each one has a sweet on it: the chocolate truffle, a chocolate-covered sundae and the green peppermint swirl. Once a meter fills, that sweet lands as a wild. With five spins left the win box already said RM13.58, with four wilds scattered over the reels. The last capture has all three meters full and a Well Done box for RM37.75 on the RM0.50 stake. One good run, not a promise.

The old page described the meters as chocolate pots turning the top-paying sweets wild in stages, which matches the screens, but I didn't find the actual paytable, so the order of the sweets is as seen, not as documented.
