Five Tiger Generals: one jackpot box for each general
Three Kingdoms generals on parchment reels, a column of five jackpot boxes and a scatter that starts unlimited free games. What the NTC33 screens show.
Five bearded and helmeted faces stare out from the right-hand side of this screen, each stuck next to its own jackpot box, and that column is what makes 5 Tiger General look different from the other Chinese-history slots on NTC33.
The generals are the Three Kingdoms set: a green-robed warrior with a long beard, a fierce one in red with a sword, a young officer in blue armour, another in purple with a spear, and an old archer drawing a bow. On the reels they appear as round portrait tiles. The low symbols are 9, 10, J, Q, K and A in a silver brush style on parchment-coloured reels. A red banner with a gold tiger face lands stacked, and in the first screenshot three of them fill the middle row.
The jackpot column
Above the boxes it says 5 OF A KIND JACKPOT. In the captures the boxes read RM3,076.48, RM1,577.60, RM412.15, RM140.96 and RM84.00, and a few spins later they've all moved up by a few sen to a few ringgit, so they're live progressives. Each box has a different general beside it, which suggests five of that general on a line wins that box. That's my reading of the layout, not something the screenshots prove, so check INFO.
Scatter and free games
The round red badge with the gold characters 五虎将 is the scatter. The banner across the top of the shot above spells it out: three or more anywhere start the Unlimited Tiger Generals Free Games. The old page said wilds get collected during those free games and five of them set off a "Wild Tiger Super Spin". I couldn't confirm any of that; none of the five captures is from inside the feature.
Bet panel
The bar runs INFO, LINES (fixed at 15 here), LINE BET with plus and minus, TOTAL BET, a big WIN box, AUTO PLAY, TURBO MODE and SPIN. Every screenshot has the same setting: RM0.20 a line, RM3 a spin. That's not a small stake for a 15-liner, and at that price you'd want to know the paytable first.
