A little cartoon hunter in a pith helmet pops up at the bottom-left of the screen during a win and takes a potshot at a pink carnivorous plant on the right. That's Huga's idea of a win animation, and it tells you most of what you need to know about the tone.

The symbols are cartoon jungle folk on black tiles: the hunter with his shotgun, a woman with a flower in her hair, a lion, a monkey, a pink hippo, the carnivorous plant, an orange fire flower and a blue curly vine. No card letters. Nine lines, numbered on wooden tags down both sides.

The info screen

Line pays for five, four and three:

  • hunter 1000/200/50 (ALL x2500)
  • woman 400/80/20 (ALL x1000)
  • lion 200/40/15 (ALL x500)
  • monkey 160/30/10 (ALL x400)
  • hippo 100/20/7 (ALL x250)
  • carnivorous plant 60/15/5 (ALL x150)
  • fire flower 40/10/3 (ALL x100)
  • blue vine 20/5/2 (ALL x50)

There are also two mixed pays along the bottom: any screen of lions, monkeys and hippos at x50, and any screen of the three plants at x15. The ALL figures look like full-screen pays, though the screen never says so in words. Wins are paid left to right and right to left.

The wild is a shield with crossed rifles. It pays 2000 for five and x5000 for a whole screen, and it's also the key to the bonus. Three wilds on a line give one bonus game, four give two, five give three, and a screen full of them gives 27. The small pictures show a bonus board where the characters sit on multipliers from x5 up to x500. I have no capture from inside it, so I can't tell you how it plays out.

Bets

LINES stays at 9. The captures use 0.01 GP a line (0.09 GP a spin) and one at 0.06 GP (0.54). Wins in the set run from 0.03 to 0.24 GP.

The info screen says three or more wild symbols on a line send you into the bonus game, and the number of times depends on how many there are: 1 for three, 2 for four, 3 for five, and 27 if the whole screen is wild.

What does ALL mean on the Huga paytable?

Each symbol has an ALL figure under it, such as x2500 for the hunter. It appears to be the pay when that symbol fills the whole screen, but the screen doesn't explain it in words.
