Nine coloured lines crisscross the reels in the first capture, each starting from a numbered gold tab on the left and ending at the matching one on the right. That's all the paylines Silent Samurai has. It's one of the smaller video slots on 918Kiss, set on pale rice-paper reels under a gold title bar, with pagoda roofs in red on either side.

The symbols

The top pictures are a gold dragon head with green eyes, a geisha with flowers in her hair, a shuriken on a gold tile and a bronze coin with characters stamped on it. The card letters, 10, J, K and A, are written in brush strokes in blue, red, gold and violet, so the K looks more like a character than a letter.

A win and the gamble

In this capture the top row on reels 1 and 2 was blank for a moment (the symbols were mid-animation), with a gold dragon on reel 3. The game reported a win on 2 lines, 0.05 on line 2, and 0.10 in all, on a 0.09 bet. The dice GAMBLE button appeared in the corner.

The gamble screen sits under a red torii gate, with gold dragons on the posts. It's red or black: BET 0.10, DOUBLE TO 0.20, SELECT RED OR BLACK, and a COLLECT button to walk away. The face-down card carries a red double-happiness pattern.

Bet bar

CURRENT BALANCE, LINES with minus and plus, BET with minus and plus, WIN, AUTO START and SPIN, as on Safari Heat and Panther Moon. The first shot was at 0.90 (0.10 a line), the second at 0.09 (0.01 a line). I didn't see jackpot boxes on this one; the top of the screen is just the title, BACK and the menu.

The old page described a three-reel machine with hold buttons and no gamble. This one has five reels and a gamble, so none of it applies.
