Pocket Monster: an animal-betting wheel with a baccarat-style twist
A ring of cartoon creature tiles, a bet board in three coloured rows, and Bank, Player and Tie bets on the side. What the two captures show.
A strip of small tiles above the bet board reads B, P, P, P, B, B. That's the history of the last six rounds, and it's the clue that Pocket Monster isn't just an animal wheel. Every spin also settles as Bank or Player, the way a baccarat road does, and you can bet on that as well.

The wheel
The frame is a ring of square tiles around a forest path scene, each tile a cartoon creature on a red, green or yellow background. There are four creature types, repeated in the three colours, plus a cat-like special tile at the top centre and an egg-shaped tile at the bottom. On the left, under a JACKPOT counter (367,340 in the first capture, 161,100 in the second), a card shows a black silhouette of a creature, a guess-who panel that fills in when the round lands. A small PLAYER label sits on the right.
The bet board
The board has three rows, one per colour, and four creatures in each row, so twelve bets in all. Every creature has its own multiplier. The payouts rise from one type to the next and change with the colour. The smallest I saw was x5 and the largest x40:
- first creature: x31, x40 and x35
- second: x15, x20 and x17
- third: x8, x11 and x10
- fourth: x5, x7 and x6
Down the right side are three more boxes: BANK x2, TIE x9 and PLAYER x2. Along the bottom: CHIPS set to x 50, BAL (4,393 credits), BET, WIN, LAST RESULT and REBET. That's the same bar as Phoenix and Racing Car, which use the same kind of board.
The old page for this game was a general article about mobile creature games and said nothing about the betting, so none of it carries over.

How do Bank, Player and Tie work in Pocket Monster?
They sit in a column on the right of the bet board: BANK x2, TIE x9 and PLAYER x2. A strip of recent results above the board marks each round B or P, so every spin also settles as Bank or Player, like baccarat. The rules for what counts as a Tie weren't on screen.
