Fa Da Chai (Big Prosperity): the God of Wealth pays in eights
发大财, Big Prosperity, on 3Win8: a short paytable built on eights, a Fa scatter that pays anywhere, and a small win with the God of Wealth filling in.
The God of Wealth's pays in Fa Da Chai read 8, 88, 888 and 8,888. Nobody at the studio was subtle about this one. The name on the logo is 发大财, "strike it rich", with BIG PROSPERITY in gold letters underneath, and just about everything on the reels is red or gold.
A short paytable
The first help page is two boxes. On the left, the God of Wealth in his red hat substitutes for all symbols except the scattered logo. On the right, the logo itself, a glowing gold 發 on black, pays anywhere on the reels: 500 times your total bet for five, 30 for four, 3 for three and 1 for two. Underneath, a line says all symbols pay left to right except the logo, and 25 small diagrams show the lines.
The old page mentioned a Chinese dragon as a big payer. There's no dragon on these reels. The picture symbols are a gold ingot marked 福, a gold guardian lion, a pair of red envelopes, and a gold coin reading 招宝进财. The cards, 9 to A, are drawn so they look like Chinese brush strokes, which takes a second to read (the A looks a bit like 月).
Bets and one win
The first game shot is on LINES 25 at BET 0.10, 2.50 a spin. Coloured line tabs run down both sides, and MINOR 750.00 and MAJOR 1200.00 sit either side of the logo. Neither moved between the two captures.
The second is on 3 lines at 0.04 (0.12 a spin). Two 9s and the God of Wealth across the middle row made three 9s on line 1, for 0.20. After the win the AUTOPLAY button changed to GAMBLE. The balance went from 56.06 to 53.90 between the shots.
The old page said three or more scatters trigger a reward feature. The paytable I can see doesn't say so, and nothing in these captures shows one.
