Desert Treasure: a cobra wild, tripled free spins and a treasure map bonus

Five gold 10s, each with a black scorpion crawling over it, lined up across the top row, and the little box on the right says LINES 2, WIN 2.00. On a 0.04 line bet that's exactly the 50 the paytable promises for five 10s. It's the lowest symbol in Desert Treasure, and still the kind of hit that makes a small session feel better than it is.

This is a 20-line desert slot on 3Win8 with sand-coloured reels, palm trees over the logo and a gold-framed set of symbols: a cobra, an oasis, a camel, a Bedouin with an eye patch, a woman with dark hair and a gold headpiece, and a treasure map with a compass. The low symbols are A to 10, each with a desert creature on it: a scorpion, a scarab, a lizard, a snake.

The paytable

The whole thing fits on one page, which I appreciate:

• Cobra WILD pays 10,000 for five, 2,000 for four, 200 for three and 10 for two. It stands in for anything except the scatter and the bonus.
• Scatter (the woman) pays 500, 50, 5 or 2 times your total bet for five down to two. Three or more give 10 free spins, and all wins except the bonus are tripled during them.
• BONUS (the map): three to five on consecutive reels from the far left, on a line you're playing, start a bonus round. Bonus wins are multiplied by the line bet.
• Oasis 500, camel 400, Bedouin 200 for five. Then A 150, K 125, Q 100, J 75 and 10 at 50.

The old page said the bonus usually pays three or four times your bet and free spins 50 to 100 times. The paytable doesn't say anything like that, and I didn't see either feature in these captures.

Lines, bet and jackpots

Set to 20 lines at 0.10, a spin costs 2.00. The winning capture was on 5 lines at 0.04, so 0.20 a spin. Balance sat at 59.45 before and 59.05 after, with the 2.00 win still showing in the WIN box.

Three jackpot boxes sit above the reels: MINOR (750.00, later 1,000.00), RANDOM JACKPOT (around 16,535) and MAJOR (2,000.00, later 1,400.00). A ticker in the top bar announces other players' jackpots, including one in Lotto Madness.
