Dolphin Reef: the dolphin only lands on two reels, and that's the feature

On the Dolphin Reef paytable, the dolphin isn't the top-paying symbol. It doesn't pay at all by itself. It's a WILD that can only appear on reels 2 and 4, and when it lands on both, you get 5 free games with an expanding wild. That's the whole idea of the game, printed in yellow letters in the middle of the page.

What pays

The clownfish is the one to hope for: 5,000 for five, 500 for four, 100 for three, 5 for two. The sea turtle pays 1,000 for five. The starfish and seahorse share a row at 500 for five, which suggests any mix of the two counts. The card symbols are paired the same way: A and K at 250, Q and J at 150, 10 and 9 at 100.

The treasure chest is the scatter, 100 for five down to 3 for three. Nothing on this page links it to free games; that job belongs to the dolphin.

Lines and a small win

The reels are white on a blue underwater background with kelp up the sides, and the numbered line markers run down both edges. With all 20 lines at 0.10, a spin costs 2.00. The capture after that is on 6 lines at 0.03 (0.18 a spin), and it paid: a clownfish on reel 1 and a dolphin on reel 2 along line 3, outlined in pink, for 0.15.

That's the clownfish's pay for two (5) times the 0.03 line bet, with the dolphin standing in as the second clownfish. After the win, the AUTO button became GAMBLE. Balance went from 66.03 to 63.51 across the three shots.

Above the reels the top bar carries a jackpot ticker, but unlike some 3Win8 games there are no jackpot boxes in these captures.
