Captain's Treasure: nine lines, crossed swords and a chest full of free games

A single pair of crossed swords on reel 1 is worth 2 times the line bet in Captain's Treasure. The last screenshot shows exactly that: one red-boxed sword symbol at the left end of line 6, and a win of 0.02 on a 0.01 line bet. Few slots pay for one symbol, and it's the first thing I noticed on the paytable.

A 9-line table

The paytable is a grid rather than panels. Down the side, X to XXXXX; across the top, 9, 10, J, Q, K, A, a ship's wheel, an anchor, a treasure map and the crossed swords. Five swords pay 5,000, five maps 2,500, wheel and anchor 1,000 each. The card letters sit on scraps of parchment and pay 100 to 500 for five.

The line under the table matters more than the numbers: all lines pay left to right or right to left. Nine lines that pay both ways cover more than nine lines usually do.

The wild is the bearded captain in a tricorn hat. He only appears on reels 2, 3 and 4, and a win he's part of is doubled. The scatter is an open chest of gold. Two pay 1, and three, four or five pay 5, 10 or 100 plus 10, 15 or 25 free games. They have to land on reels 1, 2 and 3 or on reels 3, 4 and 5 to start the feature. The old page said there were no bonus games; the paytable says otherwise.

LINES 9 is fixed in both game shots. BET runs with a minus and plus, and the total shows beside it: 0.90 at 0.10 a line, 0.09 at 0.01. Then AUTO and a green arrow-shaped SPIN. There's no jackpot box in this version, only the ticker across the top announcing other players' jackpots.
