ACE333: the gold crown lobby, its accounts, and a tour of the slots

Four big tiles sit across the top of the ACE333 lobby: SLOT with cherries and BAR symbols, ARCADE with two cartoon monkeys, TABLE with a roulette wheel and chips, and LIVE, which in our capture still has a red COMING SOON ribbon across it. Under them runs a row of game tiles you scroll with yellow arrows, and at the bottom a single JACKPOT bar, 143,027.36 on the day this was taken.

That's most of what the app is. ACE333 is a lobby of slot games with a few arcade and table games on the side, and a gold crown with a spade in it as its logo.

How accounts and money work

You can't sign up for ACE333 on a website. Players in Malaysia get a game ID and password from an agent (also called a provider). You top up with that agent, usually by bank transfer or e-wallet, and they put credit on your ID. When you want to cash out, the cuci goes back through the same agent.

So the agent matters more than the app. The app shows your balance; only the agent pays you. Ask how long a cuci takes and what the minimum is before you send anything, start small, and keep your transfer receipts.

The app isn't on Google Play or the App Store. It installs from a file on Android, from an enterprise-signed build on iPhone, and there used to be a Windows client. The steps and the checks worth doing are on the ACE333 install notes page.

What's in the lobby

The old version of this page counted 22 slots, 5 arcade games and 5 table games, and said more would come. The lobby has clearly changed since: another capture shows SLOT, MARVEL SLOT, ARCADE, TABLE and FISHING. Tiles we've seen include Penguin Vacation, Fantastic Four, Geisha Story, Lotto Madness, Thai Temple, Golden Tour and Dolphin Reef.

One thing is the same in almost every game: a strip across the top with three counters, MAJOR, RANDOM and MINOR. It sits above games from different makers, so it looks like ACE333's own jackpot layer rather than part of each slot. RANDOM creeps up a little with every spin; MAJOR and MINOR jump around. None of the captures explain how they're won.

Many of the slots also share a Playtech-style bar at the bottom: CURRENT BALANCE, LINES and BET with minus and plus buttons, WIN, AUTO START and SPIN. If LINES says 25 and BET says 0.01, check what the total works out to before you press.

A tour of the game pages

We've written up 20 ACE333 games from their own screenshots. Some places to start:

Chinese-theme slots. 3 Kings is a red 15-line game with the three star gods and a TAKE or GAMBLE step after wins. 88 Fortune runs 243 ways and prices its bet as a ladder of Gold Symbols from 8 to 88 credits, with four padlocked jackpots. Great China is 50 lines at 0.01 each, with a panda that can fill reel 3 and red stars that pay on their own.

Old-cabinet games. Golden Tour is a five-line golf slot with a Dollar Ball switch and a progressive marquee, and Captain's Treasure is a nine-line pirate game in the same kind of cabinet. 777 Blazing is bars, bells and flaming 7s.

Lighter themes. Fortunes of the Fox is a sunny cartoon with a fox, a sleepy hound and a grumpy hunter. Geisha Story labels its WILD, SCATTER and BONUS symbols right on the tiles, which makes it an easy one to learn on.

Before you play

• The old page promised big wins from small bets. We took that out. Our captures mostly show single-line spins at 0.01 with the balance drifting down.
• Jackpot counters aren't your odds. They're shared numbers that move with everyone's spins.
• Old game pages were copied from studio reviews. Paylines, max wins and features in them often didn't match the ACE333 builds. On our pages, anything the screens didn't show is marked as unconfirmed.
• Cover your ID before posting screenshots.
